My New Zealand trip (11-08-09 - 18-08-09) - part 1

Hi dear all,
Today would like to share my most memorable and enjoyable Birthday trip to New Zealand (as my birthday is on 11/08.. Total of this trip we have Wei Siong whom his birthday is same as me, Mr Farhan and Me..

For this trip all of us were quite cool as we were never planned anything, by just booking our tickets, go how many days, and the 1st day motel. The motel we stayed were called YHA Hi-hostel, specially for those backpackers and it was very cheap(30dollars + per night per person).... And u can find it anywhere in NewZealand and can book instantly.. That's why we had the guts to travel without booking. =.="


So, by driving car from JUCY car rental, the interesting places we went in New Zealand are Christchurch, Mt. Cook, Lake Tekapo, Queenstown, Wanaka, France Joseph. Well, one word to describe those scenery of the places is AWESOME! Pictures makes a thousand words, following are those i have taken in New Zealand trip.

~~Christchurch~~

~~Lake Tekapo~~
After the 1st day stayed in christchurch, we droved down all the way to Lake Tekapo and then to Mt cook for one night stay. It took us approx 4-5 hours down due to attracted by the super nice scenery along the way.

Oh well, photo above taken was just to show you all how strong the wind is. and it was cold.

~~Mt Cook~~
When we reached to Mt Cook it was already about 3pm, abit late than what we planned. The weather there was not good that time... which is raining la.. and the temperature was drop until 6 degree.. And we wanted to climb up to the hill to see glacier. So... don really know what happen to us that day, we did have those courages and braveness, without any tour guides, after check in our bags,we straight head up to a hill which is 10-20 mins walk until rain just to see the glacier. Well.. it was damn cold of course!

Coming back to the hostel was around 7pm and we were totally wet and exhausted, we had a nice dinner and then straight head back to our hostel and sleep~~~~~~ on the next day we woke up and we did took some nice photos. here's some to share with you all..

After taking nice photos and settle our stomach, we packed up and headed to Queenstown, where the place of full adventures!!!!
